I make these candy apple cakes for Christmas.
We started the tradition when we were living in
Wells, Nevada. The boys can remember taking
them around to our friends in Wells. Grant is
taking these to his Home Teaching Families.
I must say they are delicious!!!!!

Fallon broke a long standing record for a high....or in this case low high. Wednesday's high was 6 degrees breaking the previous record of a low high of 10 degrees 37 years ago.
It was -12 degrees last night.

Grant Shoveling---a lot of work!
Grant wanted to get the driveway clear before the next storm his. It is still snowing as he shovels.
Snow Day for Fallon School
Today we woke up to snow. As you can see we got plenty. Grant said that he has never seen it snow this much in Fallon. Grant went to the store and they tried to back his pick up into the garage. Well, he couldn't do it. There is ice under the snow.
It is still snowing!!!!

Fun Day
Today Shannon and I went to Reno to see
the movie "The Blind Side". It was an
excellent movie and I would recommend
it to anyone. A good clean
movie with a wonderful story.
Then we went to Applebee's for lunch.
It was a perfect day.

Thanks for friends
Thanks for friends, espcially ones that call and say that they are making rolls and would make some for me for Thanksgiving. Since I am not a real good baker, I am thankful for friends like Jill.

Salt Lake City
Salt Lake City here we come again.
Grant needs to get an Echo cardiogram.
He had to have one about a year ago and
the hospital really messed it up in Fallon. We decided
it would save alot of time and effort just to
go to Salt Lake and have it done right the
first time. We were just there last week.
Twice in two weeks is almost too much
travel for me and I know it is for Grant.
It is something that needs to be done, so we
will do it.
